CANNA RHIZOTONIC, the world's best-selling root stimulator, has a new outlook on life. This revolutionary root stimulator product, introduced to the green market decades ago, remains unmatched in quality and performance, quietly boosting plant root growth and strengthening its resistance to sickness.

So, how could we make it even better? Could we improve its steady, unswerving purpose that has satisfied the needs of professional growers worldwide? Well, we did. After five years of extensive testing and trials, the new formula is more effective than ever. It's the new RHIZOTONIC, with all the same benefits you know and love but with improved performance, extended two-year shelf life and lower pH.

IMPROVED PERFORMANCE

CANNA increased the concentration of marine algae in the new formula by varying the production process. It amplifies the organic substances, improving the production of growth hormones and root growth. It's a technical way of saying the product works better for your plants. We have always recommended on the label to shake well before using.

LOWER PH

The new formula has a lower plant-friendly pH of 4.7 versus 12.5 for the old one. It often required pH adjustment in the nutrient tank, limiting product shelf life. It is not the case with the new RHIZOTONIC. A lower pH gives better results than a higher pH. After adding it to the nutrient tank, it won't spike the pH and is friendlier on plants when foliar feeding.

DARKER COLOUR AND SWEETER SMELL

You will notice that the new and improved RHIZOTONIC appears darker in colour and smells sweeter than the old one. It is chemistry at work. The high pH of the old formula emits more sulphur compounds resulting in its characteristic fishy smell. The new lower pH better preserves the marine algae, producing fewer sulphur compounds and a sweeter aroma.

LONGER SHELF LIFE

The new and improved RHIZOTONIC has a guaranteed shelf life of two years versus a single year for the old one. The new lower pH helps to extend the product's shelf life. Storage conditions will always affect the outcome. Keep RHIZOTONIC dark and store between 9°C and 21°C to optimise its longevity.

HOW CAN YOU SPOT THE DIFFERENCE?

The new version is any Rhizotonic with a best-before date of 2024 stamped on the bottle. It will also have a slightly darker colour and sweeter odour.

DOSAGE

The dilution remains at 4 ml/ litre to make it as easy as possible for the grower. No need to adjust your existing habits. Refer to our grow guides for the recommended usage during the crop's entire cycle.
